Metaepitome 19:40
The games behind, the wise man said, is played. Behind the curtain veil his eyes can't see What his mind won't recieve his time is out The rain must fall to put out the fire like any dying man would agree forgiveness is a mighty power, ..it finally occured to me how dark. IT can be in the shadows. The war. Cries are deafening darkness. Death. Lies and deceit. Oh heavens rain on me.. And he remembers: 1. A time before he was 2. A part he had 3. A scheme But time it fades his memory --> it changes. When tomorrow comes. The rain must fall To put out the fire, like. "Any dying man would agree forgiveness is a mighty power!" -it finally occured to me. How dark? It can be in the shadows! The war cries are deafening, darkness, death, lies, and deciet. Oh heavens rain on me.. Lately he has been seen in his garden Plucking the flowers Desperately wasting his time with: -"How could I go back to yesteryear?" -"Now look. Please understand. it's not like actual time were talking here. It's just that.. you know.. those things you leave behind.. ..Have a tendency to sneak up on you Mind you its not all bad, like, some of it is, well, positive and that's what I'm going on about!" The world in his hands is twisted To emphasize this twist of fate A projection of what he sees no longer sufficed to him a remedy, a fix to feed your head. Like the doormouse said: -"Tomorrow rain must fall" He looks around with a passive frown At the rotten streets of this unholy town The distance is a million miles His sight is weak, and he cannot see The greener fields and the calmest streams And the winding road leading straight to it He is coming to his senses Now the awakening is so surreal to me A co-existence of all things real and all things unreal clear as it can be So brace yourself the time has come To climb the wall down, down, down.. Yeah to climb the wall To see it falling down To look in to the future Yeah to climb the wall To see it falling down To look in to the future In the silence of the heart where no prying eye can see wait.. there's something down there? and if there is, it is not of me, and thus cannot claim dominion but it does, over me There's movement in the dark ears ringing of fear the bells sound a warning of news that came too late the ground begins to shudder as the enemy awakes I am lust and fear and hate I bring lies, unjustice and death the age of war is at hand so pick your side! run to the hills if you will, but know that you cant hide an enemy inside not on your own with me by your side you might have a chance come along for the ride -I promise a good one. so (I) began the fall so (I) began the falling down no looking to the future The way it turned out is never quite what it seemed to be a way out to war ride on a storm god knows the poor need ..a new morning

If I found out the truth I would not change. The way I feel: -"Choice is a junction" Before me it is mine to do as I please, I base my reactions on data I collected previously So change is not an option If you're as mechanised as me "Expectations equal morality" -A definition made by man My mission is to live up to these demands. I understand! But in the fine print I spotted: A warning I was not supposed to see In the terms of usage this is what I came to read: WARNING: Ending WARNING: Ending (Without warning) How can I find a way out? 'Tis a dangerous night And a morning Shine on me to the fields As I ride and a following: Fiery gleam. And a season will rise Growing! Grow the trees! Darkness cease! And a shimmering light Glowing! Morning come! WARNING: Ending WARNING: Ending (Without warning) How can I find a way out of my destiny? As a being see me wither then I die. Grace is lost In the years I am. Like a cigarette on fire.

Raise my wings and I'm levitating the world beneath me growing smaller winds of changes radiating with the current I drift away And every problem I had, all the moments so sad all the conflicts in my head and all around all the pieces were scattered in all directions every word every move every breath every decision the table was clean once more Lord I cried aloud, I'm still alive no more falling down, yes the rose has its thorn and I've seen it all I pray for a life more worth living now I see you are decieved Lord I pray for your redemption what I got was something more an escape from 3 dimensions realisation of our dream to roam free as a bird have you ever heard of a life more worth living now I see you are decieved

My eyes are burning for what I see I can't believe what forces are at work here if I see why should I believe once again I'm standing at the crossroads and I sigh why can't I decide my sweet vision of freedom is a butterfly's cry from the realities of life my heart was yearning for the feeling of enlightenment but when I'm immersed in it is it real or foul deceit once again I'm standing at the crossroads and I sigh why can't I decide my sweet vision of freedom is a butterfly's cry from the realities of life no it won't be the last lost illusion dis-enchanted I am defending no it won't be the last impending the ending in the sweet days of spring just as the sun was starting to kick in yes I was a fool and I always imagined it so that all the cards I needed would be in my hands but time it flows through our hand like sand just as I identified the moment as a beginning well that was when it already started to end and a feeling was growing inside of me no it won't be the last lost illusion dis-enchanted I am defending no it won't be the last impending the ending no it won't be the last lost illusion dis-enchanted I am defending no it won't be the last impending the ending I must be learning ah yes, because it's fading once again I'm standing at the crossroads and I sigh why can't I decide my sweet vision of freedom is a butterfly's cry from the realities of life

Dawn 16:21
blinded by the vision of power i was until i defected until you see what you have become you wont know youre infected you can keep on running but you aint getting away keep on scratching but the itch it wont go is it a matter of time? no, its a matter of faith the signs are clear but they match in direction breaking thru a barrier none can see the poison is injected into your veins please leave me be, youre in its grip hey now you know that the end is near, yes and the thought of going is ever present in your head and you think they are out to own you its over the horizon hey now so if you want to break me up until im down no i wont be there wake me up when i am gone no i wont be there night until dawn but the night is still young (like your face (?)) A crisis is about to unfold, tonight im gonna prove it Alleviate the cold and then let it be, go find another fool yo Hey now you spell another problem for this human being, Set another date for the end of reality. And how can some people say life is free? and how can they give it away? Why wont anyone tell me? so if you want to break me up until im down no i wont be there wake me up when i am gone no i wont be there night until dawn but the night is still young (like your face (?)) oh how the time was spent and what it all had meant do you cast away do you block it out beyond any doubt would vanity and convenience conspire to lose it all what abomination leaves the body but devours the soul? everything under the sun is burning up come hear the call come turn it up then say the end is near enough one day the sky shall open up and rain will wash the unholy town now heed the "warning : ending" now 'tis the last illusion to ever fall you're not listening so if you want to break me up until im down no i wont be there wake me up when i am gone no i wont be there night until dawn but the night is still young warning its ending tomorrow its so real more love descending the morning is surreal

about

Overhead's second opus "Metaepitome" is composed by six long and epic pieces, two of them being suites about 15 and 20 minutes long. Overhead's progressive rock becomes really innovative and personal, when it's mixed with some psychedelic and electronic sequences and performed with a power not unlike heavy-metal. The ingredients: retro keyboard sounds, lively bass parts, elegant vocals, nice flute and excellent guitar playing.
